What inspires you?
Inspiration comes from everywhere, books, birthday cards, newspapers, city streets. You just have to look.
What is your medium of choice?
Wood is my medium of choice. I am also open to new materials and different mediums.
What is the most important theme that your work revolves around?
Spiritual and cultural content is the most recognizable aspect of my work. The use of recycled materials is also important to me.
What is the concept behind the work you’re making during your residency?
I have looked at the collections in the Plumbing Museum and decided to merge my ideas with visions of early plumbing designs.
How do you spend your time when not working in the studio?
Small side jobs and commissions. Reading Sci-Fi. Taking care of my daughter.
